Get started with Talea®

Welcome to Talea, The Bancorp’s secure, proprietary platform for the application and origination process. With this guide, you’ll not only learn how to register your account but also how to leverage everything Talea offers from creating loan estimates and applications to supporting client accounts. Through Talea, you’ll also be able to access Lync™, our advanced account management system.

How to register 

Single sign-on (SSO)

If your wealth management platform has single sign-on (SSO) connectivity with The Bancorp, registration is not required. Simply click the link on your advisor home page to automatically log into Talea. A separate username and password are not needed.

 

Register without single sign-on

If SSO is not available on your platform, please follow the steps below.

  1. Visit talea.thebancorp.com/registration.
  2. Enter your information and click “Register.”
  3. Once your information is verified, you will receive an email with your login ID and temporary password as well as further instructions to complete the process.

How to access 

Access with single sign-on

  1. Locate the SSO link on your advisor homepage.
  2. Click the link to be taken directly to the Talea platform.

 

Access without single sign-on

  1. Visit talea.thebancorp.com.
  2. Enter your login ID and password and then click “Login.”

How to create a new account application 

  1. On the Talea home page, locate the New account application box and select “Begin,” or click the icon    in the top-right navigation.
  2. On the Account application packages page select “Create a new loan application package.”
    • If available, you may also select “Create a new deposit application package.”
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions. The platform will guide you through each step of the application process.

You can track all in-flight application packages on the Account application package landing page under “My application packages,” where live status updates and next step details help keep everything organized.

Note: When the status changes to “Complete,” the loan application has been fully signed and is automatically sent to the Underwriting team to begin the review and approval process.

How to create an SBLOC loan estimate 

  1. From the Talea home page, select “Estimate” in the Estimate credit limit box, or click the    icon in the top-right navigation.
  2. Select “Click to upload an account” and choose the file type.
  3. Upload the account file and click “Continue.”
  4. Select the account(s) to use for the estimate and click “Simulate.”

Talea instantly provides a real-time SBLOC drawing power estimate. From here, you can apply, print or save the estimate. Saved estimates can be accessed anytime using “Manage saved.”

How to maintain and support clients’ accounts 

Access the “Client administration resources” and “Client relationship resources” to help efficiently manage your clients’ accounts and strengthen client relationships. Our centralized library includes pre-fillable, printable account maintenance forms, links to available bank services, FAQs and educational brochures. These tools are designed to support requests on existing accounts and provide helpful insights into our banking solutions. If you don’t find the form or resource you need, our team is available to assist.

Talea® Lync

Lync is our secure account management platform, which you can access once you are registered in Talea. Just click on the paper clip icon    in the top right navigation on the Talea home page and start self-service immediately. Here, you can manage your clients' accounts from a central point, including tracking account openings, viewing statements, setting alerts and submitting service requests (“Cases”).
