Bill Neurohr has joined The Bancorp as Managing Director, Consumer Compliance Officer, reporting to Hugh McFadden, Chief Operating Officer. Neurohr will oversee the Consumer Compliance organization and be responsible for interactions with regulators. He will play a leading role in the development and implementation of the critical Integrated Compliance Program and be a member of the firm’s Management Council.
Previously, Neurohr served as Compliance Director for Citi's Global Consumer Bank Card organization, where he was responsible for managing adherence to the Global Compliance Program. This included contributions to risk assessments, monitoring and reporting, policy and procedure oversight, fair lending, customer privacy, as well as anti-money laundering process oversight.
Prior to joining Citi, Neurohr was Compliance Managing Director and Senior Vice President and Head of Governance and Practices for JPMorgan Chase's Global Card and Merchant Services organizations. At JPMorgan Chase, he managed adherence to the firm's Global Compliance Program and directed Compliance Testing teams for Chase Card, Merchant Services, Auto Finance, and Student Lending business lines.
Neurohr also spent 14 years in various roles at Bank of America, ultimately leading the Global Corporate Compliance Monitoring and Testing teams and Operational Risk Management teams. Prior duties included overseeing product management, process design, contact center deployment efforts, and client-facing sales and servicing teams.
Neurohr graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, with a double major in Marketing and Public Relations.
