Michele Klesius is Senior Vice President, BSA and Compliance Officer for The Bancorp Bank.  Based in Wilmington, DE, she has more than two decades of experience in the banking industry.  Klesius is responsible for managing the bank's compliance program accross all product lines.  

Prior to joining The Bancorp Bank in 2006, Klesius spent seventeen years at MBNA America in various management and compliance roles for deposits, consumer lending and credit card products.

Klesius holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and behavioral science from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA.  She recieved her CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) certification in 2001 AND IN 2008 became CAMS (Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist) certified.
