Joyce Mehlman Chief Operating Officer
Joyce Mehlman has been in banking since 1981 when she started as a teller for Chase Manhattan. Since the time Joyce has worked for the commercial, savings and thrift institutions in multiple capacities including operations liaison, head teller, deposit support, finance, and project support. During her five years with Chase and seven years with Bank of America she worked in both Operations and Finance supporting the Retail, Commercial and International lines of business. Joyce spent 15 years as a project manager within the Financial Services industry implementing systems supporting Bank Profitability, AML and OFAC reporting, Investment Tracking and Reporting for securities, Mergers and Acquisitions as well as loan and deposit system conversions. She was CFO for Edge Bank for NationsBank supporting products such as Letters of Credit, Bankers Acceptances and FX transactions. She was responsible for all Regulatory Reporting and Audits and during her time working S1: main functions as project/product manager was to support systems that were built to support this reporting.
As COO of the Bancorp Bank Joyce’s responsibilities include managing the Deposit Operations, New Account Group, EFT and Call Center. Within these groups we support the day to day operational tasks for the Bank including deposit processing, wires and ACH’s, new account CIP and opening, fraud and compliance as well as customer support. Joyce also sits on the Risk Committee as well as the Senior Officers Committee and reports to the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
